The Finished Product
So what do you do with the cookies once you've baked them? Last week we packaged them all up, The Son wrote out a little name card for each package (we wrapped them in cellophane and ribbons) and we hand delivered them to various neighbor's doorsteps. Figuring this time they'd all shoot me if I delivered yet another batch of cookies, we're planning on dropping them off at my mom's tomorrow. So, what do you do with the finished product? If we kept them, we'd eat them... not a good thing.

I was actually thinking of baking cookies and delivering them when we move to our new neighborhood. It would be a great way to introduce ourselves to our new neighbors.

I'm confused... so, are you saying that you already made, packaged & delivered cookies & then made & packaged more? I am so impressed!
Um, I'd be happy to take them off your hands... mmmmmmm.... cookies!
Actually... there is an event this Sunday (would they keep that long?) at the Ronald McDonald House for the <a>Secret Angel Foundation</a>, it's their holiday event for the family members of the sick children at Children's Hospital. I'm sure they'd appreciate your culinary skills :-).

Ah I just got back from delivering them to my mom... We made cookies two weeks ago and delivered them to neighbors, last week we made muffins and gave them to a friend who just had a baby and this week we made cookies again. We just bake a lot around here ;-)
My sister is going to let my niece get her navel pierced. Mastodon won't do it (she's under 16). What do you think of Jefe's? Know any other good places?

okay...
here's what I was gonna tell you on the phone:
My piercer Shanda will do it with parental consent. She was working in Patriot Tattoo, the only reason she's no longer in the shop is because she got a divorce. She has autoclave & I can personally vouch for her.... she's very good, very reasonably priced, and she will go either to you, or you & Mandi are welcome to come here. She has done 4 out of 6 of my piercings, she has pierced Keith, Hayden's ear & many of my friends.... always very professional, very clean, just an all around very cool single mom. I've never had any issues w/any of the piercings she has done.
Just let me know & we can figure something out if you'd like.
Not trying to deter you from going to Mastadon or Jefe's, but I have ZERO respect for either one. Jefe has no ethics & is all about a buck... and he doesn't know wtf he's talking about... I can tell you more than one incident. Mastadon... damn, I had the utmost respect for them at one time (you know that) & then they decided their shit didn't stink & became snobbish & overpriced. I'm not the only one with that opinion.
You have my number... I'll be up for awhile & home all day tomorrow.
